Repeat Prescriptions

These are to be collected daily from The Mount site.

If you are on regular medication, the doctor may provide you with a repeat prescription slip. To request a repeat prescription, this slip can be handed into reception Monday to Friday or posted to the surgery.

A stamped addressed envelope must be attached to your request if you require the prescription to be returned to you. 

Repeat prescriptions can also be ordered on-line. Should you wish to register for this service, please telephone reception on 90458314.

They can also be ordered by email but please note that emails are sent over an unsecure connection and we therefore recommend that you use the secure method above.

Many local chemists collect prescriptions from the surgery - please indicate on your request slip if you wish to use this service. Some chemists also deliver, and it Is worth discussing this with your local chemist. 

Please give 48 hours notice for all requests. 

Please do not ask for repeat prescriptions in surgery consultations.

Medication Reviews

Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip.

Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
